Who we are
US POINT is an online store for genuine car parts in Saudi Arabia, available on this website and in the US POINT mobile app. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it and how you can control it, in line with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number and password. Passwords are stored encrypted and we can never see them.
- Delivery details: your saved addresses (region, city, district, street, building, postal code and notes) and, if you pick a point on the map, its location coordinates.
- Orders: the parts you buy, prices, discount codes, loyalty points used or earned, payment method and status, and the invoices we issue.
- Shopping activity: your cart, favorites and the delivery city you choose.
- Mobile app: a device identifier, the app version and the notification token (FCM) so we can send you order updates.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, kept in server logs for security.
Your location
We only read your device location when you tap "Use my location". It is used to find your city or place the map pin, and is saved only if you save the address or place the order.
How we use your data
- To create and manage your account and keep you signed in.
- To deliver your orders, calculate shipping and VAT, and issue invoices.
- To send order emails and notifications, such as confirmations, status updates and password reset codes.
- To run the loyalty program and apply discount codes.
- To improve the store, prevent fraud and keep the service secure.
Who we share it with
- We never sell your personal data. We share only what is needed with:
- Delivery partners: your name, phone and address to deliver your order.
- Google Maps: to show the map, search addresses and read the address of a map point.
- Google Firebase: to deliver notifications to the mobile app.
- Our email and hosting providers: to send emails and run the website.
- Government authorities, when the law requires it, for example tax (VAT) records.
Cookies and local storage
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, protect forms and remember your cart and delivery city. We also save your light/dark theme choice in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is active. Orders and invoices are kept for the period required by Saudi tax law. Expired sign-in tokens are deleted automatically.
Your rights
- You can view and update your profile and addresses at any time from your account.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account. Some order and invoice records must be kept by law.
- You can turn off app notifications from your phone settings or by logging out.
How we protect it
Our website uses HTTPS encryption. Passwords are hashed, invoices are stored privately, and access to customer data is limited to authorized staff.
Children
Our store is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and important changes will be announced on the website or in the app.
